Areas of expertise include EMV Cards, Contactless and NFC, Mobile Payment, Tokenization, ID, biometrics and e-Commerce. Marcelo has had extensive experience navigating in multi -cultural environments, having held positions in multiple countries such as the USA, Brazil, Colombia and others.

    He is currently the Chair of the Biometrics in Payment Council, part of the Digital Innovation Alliance. He was a founder and the first Chair of Digital Innovation Alliance, previously Smart Card Alliance Latin America – SCALA.

    Bryan Ichikawa serves as a consultant to the Secure Technology Alliance. He is also  a certified instructor for both the CSCIP and CSEIP programs.


    Bryan is a well-recognized figure in the Secure Technology Alliance, having been a frequent speaker, long time instructor, Leadership Council member, chair of the Identity Council, and has also served on the Board of Directors in several capacities.
