As Chief Business Officer at Transit, David Block-Schachter leads the team partnering with transit agencies to get cities moving.  With multimodal trip planning, integrated payment, and a simple, reliable, and oh-so-pretty interface, Transit is the leading trip planning and navigation app in North America. David was formerly the Chief Technology Officer at MBTA, where he was responsible for consumer facing technology, including new fare payment technologies, APIs, and more, and Chief Scientist and CTO at Bridj. He has lots of degrees, including a Ph.D from MIT. He doesn’t drive, which probably explains a lot.
