Carol Kuester

Director of Electronic Payments, MTC (Bay Area)

Carol Kuester is Director of Electronic Payments at MTC where she has worked for 19 years. She manages the FasTrak® and Clipper® systems, supports seamless mobility initiatives, and is active on professional Boards. Ms. Kuester also earned two fellowships (Robert Bosch Foundation and German Marshall Fund) and worked in Germany for several years. Carol has a B.S. from UC Davis and a M.A. in Urban Planning from UCLA. She studied at the New School for Social Research in New York and at the University of Nairobi, Kenya. She enjoys travel and outdoor adventures with her husband and two teenage sons.
