Ciciley Nelson

Director, Industry Advisors, Global Payments

Ciciley D. Nelson is the Director of Industry Advisors at TSYS. In this role, she is responsible for payment brand networks operational relationship management, industry engagement and influencing Industry standards and policies.

In her 26-year tenure with TSYS and Global Payments, Ms. Nelson has served in several leadership roles ranging from training and client consulting to overseeing payment brand compliance for global issuing core system processing platforms. Ms. Nelson was worked closely with multiple financial institutions of various sizes on major payment brand initiatives.

She has received various team member awards during her career including the TSYS President’s Circle Award.

Ms. Nelson is also the TSYS Champion for Financial Literacy and is passionate about educating youth on money matters. She has launched Financial Literacy programs in several elementary schools in her local community and is passionate about equipping youth with solid skills on money matters. One such program received the award for Partners in Education Program of the Year for Student Life Enrichment.

Ms. Nelson received her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia, Athens with a double major in Political Science and French.
She went on to obtain her Master of Business Administration degree from Troy University.

Ms. Nelson is an avid supporter of the TSYS/Global Payments IT Education Partnership program and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
