John Timar leads the Data Encryption team at American Express and is responsible for providing comprehensive cryptographic solutions to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of information assets. John has over 20 years of InfoSec experience in the financial industry and chairs the FIDO Board EMVCo Committee. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northern Arizona University and is a CISSP and ISSAP.
